Client only plays from Video Folder

Well I have been messing around again with clients and have a problem I just cant get through my head. I have a clean install on the client box. 1.2.9 on both client and server. On the client, I can view recordings fine through the Video Folder, but if I try to view them through Recordings, I just get a black screen and then it jumps back to the list of recordings. The same basic thing happens with live TV. I have stopped the firewalls at both ends. Lots of errors in the log, but I can't figure out the problem. Thanks.

I think you missed a few settings in config-capt.sources on the client.

It seems to me that you didn't set the server and the dirs.

Thanks Hans, I knew it was something stupid. Since I was streaming I knew I had to set the directory, but totally missed the server name. I guess I was trying to stream off of Sub's Hush system.:o I changed it and all is now good with the world!
