Last night I had a recording set (midnight). Went to bed shortly after 11, checked sched, set ok. No conflicts in the pending. Shut off pvrx2 (left pc on w/gbpvr running in tray). Woke up this morning no recording. How can I fin out what happened, is there some sort of error message I should get when no recording was made? Did it record and it was lost in space somewhere.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks

ps. I check my config file and I have "wake machine for recordings" selected.

Zip and attach the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log and GBPVRRecordingService.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

What was the show name, and what time was it supposed to occur?

it was "One Tree Hill" and it was supposed to occur at 12am (it's still listed in my re-occurring recordings file)

also, it was for my wife (for the record)

The log goes from 2008-04-15 06:50AM to 2008-04-15 17:35PM, so doesnt cover the period of the recording.

6:50 is when I started pvrx2 this morning. Does it have to be running to record?

The recording service needs to be running in the background. The user interface (PVRX2) doesnt need to be running.

The recording service log only starts at 6:50. Either there is an earlier recording service log, or your machine was switched off, or the recording service was stopped.
