Hi,

I just installed GBPvr.

I have the following types of files in my HARD DISK:

1. video_ts and audio_ts
2. Xvid
3. ISO

I have the following problems when I try to play the movies using VIDEO LIBRARY option in GBPvr

1. The video_ts folder movies plays perfectly but the on screen controls (GBpvr forward, rewind etc) do not show up!

2. The Xvid is perfect - plays and the on screen menus (GBpvr forward, rewind etc) is working as well

3. The ISO files does not even play

Can somebody help me out?

Thanks

This can sometimes happen if you've using a video decoder that is incompatible with VMR9 (like the old Cyberlink decoder).

To play .ISO files you need to have daemon tools installed, and the correct path to it specified in the config app.

Thanks for your reply.

I did, please let me know what I am doing wrong....

This is what I did....

Downloaded the dameon tools called daemon4123-lite.exe and used the config app -> DVD tab -> ISO file playback -> pointed to daemon4123-lite.exe and chose drive letter E and device number 0 (Does it matter what drive letter I use? and I have no clue what is device numer)

Can you please give me some pointers how I go about resolving this?

daemon4123-lite.exe should be the installer. you need to run that, and install the daemon tools app ( make sure to uncheck the ad stuff)
this should leave you with daemon tools installed at C:\Program Files\DAEMON Tools Lite

If that was your problem, then the solution is to install another video decoder and use that instead.

It was my mistake! I just copied the *.exe instead of installing it! Now it works but I do not see the on screen GBPvr controls (forward rewind etc)
