Iäm using schedules direct, is it possible to only record New shows(premieres) with 1.2.9?

I'd like to record a whole new season of ,for instance Futurama, but they are showing so many reruns of older seasons that I am not interested in. Is there a way of only revording certain seasons or only premieres?

GB-PVR has functionality to avoid recording duplicates, but nothing specifically to limit it to first time airings. You might be able to get what you want with a timeslot season recording though.

If you are using SD, try i-xmltv. It puts a * beside new shows, so you can find out when the new show plays and set it to record "all in this weekly timeslot"

I use Ultra xmltv and as mentioned above it also adds a * to new episodes. So you would just set a rocording to record "Futurama *" which would only record new episodes.
