Are my custom tuner settings proper?

I have a USB Toshiba tuner that I'm trying to get working.
It does have a built-in encoder since it works with MCE 2005.
I tried to configure it as a capture source, and now the software does detect it, but it failed to tune on any channel.

Here is what I added on device.ini

I doubt there's a need to add this on the main list as probably very few people own this. It came bundled with a toshiba laptop, and has been updated since.

Do you know whether the QAM feature is supported for a Dvico Fusion HDTV5 RT Lite? It's on the default bda.ini, but I can't seem to tune anything.
I'd just like to know if anyone has ever gotten QAM to work with it, or if I'm just chasing the impossible at this point. I put my logs and filtercheck in this post here:http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=35069

All I can suggest is trying the alternate qam.ini files. If they dont work, you're probably out of luck.

I noticed in my attached config.exe-native.log in the other thread there is the line:
"2008-04-30 20:16:23.093 VERBOSE KSPROPSETID_BdaDigitalDemodulator is NOT supported!!!"
would that indicate that the filter can't switch to QAM mode?

I suspect so. Its not entirely clear to me whether dvico need this or not though.
