Newbie question on no picture

Hi--New here, and frankly most of what I read is above my head. :confused: I downloaded 1.2.9 yesterday and cannot get a picture in live tv. I ran tuning assistant, I get sound fine but not picture. My tuner is an Angel USB external with amplified rabbit ears.

Any ideas? Not sure if I gave you enough information. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look. There is some info about doing this in the sticky 'posting support questions' thread.

It looks like you dont have an MPEG2 decoder installed. Try this one: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

Wow, it looks like you were right! Thanks, now all I need is a decent indoor antenna and I'm in business.

I guess I'll be donating to the cause.....I've never received this kind of service from software I've actually paid for!!!
