No Video

I have a hauppage 1600 and I cannot get any video. The sound comes in and I get program descriptions, but I can't see anything. When I recorded a file though there were no problems. I could view it perfectly and it seemed ot be clear. Is there a setting I am missing?

Its probably something to do with the video decoder you have selected on the playback tab. What do you have selected? Best to not leave it on 'system default' if you have problems.

I tried all the different options for video decoder. I have WMR9 Custom for the video renderer. With InterVideo I got a picture for a few seconds but I changed the channel and it never came back. Earlier today before I reinstalled windows I was able to get every channel in clearly.

It is most likely the video decoders you tried.

Try installing this one, and selecting it on the playback tab: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

If it doesnt work, then post the logs after that attempt.
