This is really only something for NZ users..
I've done a complete fresh reinstall of V1.2.13 and applied the patch to fix the 12:48 recording length bug (http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=35576).
Live TV and playback is now working better than ever except for 2 small issues. Firstly GB-PVR doesn't seem to have the resume function for recordings that have been partly watched previously. Secondly when I do play back a party watched recording skipping forward or back just causes all sorts of grief and the video is unwatchable. If I play back an unwatched recording everything works great and there are no longer any audio/video sync issues and skip works very well.
Is anybody else encountering this or do I need to clear everything out and try another fresh install?
