TV screen is black and no sound?

I have an ATI TV Wonder 550 in my XP system.

The software installation seemed to work. The tuning assistant can find channels.

I manually entered a channel in the device configuration. I entered a channel name and "55250000" in the channel number (that's the frequency reported by TA).

I ran the MuxChecker -- it reports no multiplexer filters were found. I'm running SP2.

I don't have a logs directory.


Am I missing something on the setup?

Try viewing live tv then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native log files from c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr\logs and I'll take a look.

Here are the logs after I tried Live View and came up with a black screen with math symbols.

Try changing your preferred MPEG video and audio decoders.

Yeah, that'd be my guess aswell.

If need be, also install these decoders:
