Promise "Digital Media Focus Group" - August 12th in San Jose/Milpitas California

We (Promise Technology, Inc.) are hosting a Digital Media Focus Group in the San Jose - San Francisco Bay Area on August 12th and August 14th (2008). We will "Focus" on Next-Gen NAS - Digital Media Server Products and upcoming Digital Media Products. Please see the announcement notification below. This same information will appear on the Promise website tomorrow (not sure what time though). The number of participants is limited so please do not become disappointed if you are not selected (nothing personal). I plan to hold sessions on a regular basis (1 or 2 times per quarter) therefore more opportunities will arise.

Promise Technology Digital Media Focus Group

When: Tuesday August 12th, 2008 and Thursday August 14th, 2008 from 6 PM to 9 PM (Food will be provided)

Where: Promise Technology Worldwide Headquarters in Milpitas, California (San Jose – San Francisco Bay Area)

Session Size: 20 Participants (Participants will be screened)

Scope – Discussion involving Promise SmartStor DLNA Digital Media Servers (NAS) and future Digital Media Products. Involvement will require signing an NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement). Sorry folks, but some stuff needs to stay "hush hush" for a little while.

NOTE: Employees and or Family Members of competing companies such as ADS Tech Buffalo, Calvary, Coolmax, Dlink, Drobo, Hammer, Hawking, Hewlett Packard (HP), IO Data, Iomega, iStar, Lacie, Linksys, Netgear, Roku, Syabas, Seagate, Synology, Thecus, Thermaltake, Trendnet, Tritton, WD and Zyzel are not eligible to participate in the Focus Group. I am "so" sorry. :p

Requirements: Must meet one of the following Prerequisites – Two is a bonus

• Users of HTPC and Current Digital Media Players from Dlink, Netgear, Linksys, Syabas (Popcornhour) and others.

• "Novice" or “Must User” - Uses Technology because it is a must and not by choice. Does not care how it works as long as it works. Non Tech or Gadget Savvy.

• Current Users of Promise SmartStor NS4300N and NS2300N Digital Media Servers – Network Attached Storage (NAS)
