"301" and "302" are names of some test channels used in the UK freeview system. They have a flag set that would stop a normal set top box from showing these channels, but GB-PVR doesnt try to hide them from you. You can disable them if you dont want them thought. I dont think these particular channels transmit any EPG info, so I wouldnt be surprised if there was no listings for these.

I not sure about the 'unknown' channels. It might be worth deleting and recreating your capture source to see if it manages to pick up the real names.

AFAIR 301 and 302 are the "red button" channels commonly used for sporting events on BBC so they can show alternate programming. They can be handy to have, but as sub says, the don't have a "schedule" as such.

They're most likely valid channels that would normally have a correctly name, but for some reason the name didnt go by at the time the app was scanning, or for whatever reason it was unable to parse the name. The best way to deal with those is probably to delete the capture source and recreate it - hopefully the new attempt will pick up the correct name.

If that doesn't work, you can use the add channel button as in your screen dump, put in the real name and under the 'map digital channels' you can assign the "unknown?" to your just-added channel.

The only one of the 301-305 range that seems to be named is tvttvDigital (304). I don't think I've ever seen channel names for the others.

They have always been visible on STBs and iDTVs although the recent change to the Network Information Table mean that 303 and 305 aren't showing anymore. I'm not sure why they've left 301 and 302.

I've seen problems at certain times of day when scanning the DVB-T Radio plugin - it's unable to find the channel names in the Service Descriptor Table. I found this happened when scanning in the afternoons sometimes but late at night normally gets a full list. This would also cause a problem for GB-PVR if the data is missing at the time you scan.

Cheers,
Brian

Since you're using the DVB EPG, no - not with out going in an editing the database.
