For some reason, my EPG is not automatically updating. If I do a manual update from the config screen, it updates just fine. I'm using zap2it and it's been working until recently (a couple weeks ago). It's set to update at 3:00AM and the system is always on at that time. I haven't changed anything in the system (that I know of). Is there any particular XP service that must be running for the scheduled updates to happen? Any ideas? Which log file should I look in for a clue as to what's happening? I'm running the latest GB-PVR release.

Otherwise, it's working great. I even got my second PVR150MCE to work so I can record two programs at once, so I'm pleased.

What version of GB-PVR are you using? Zap2It changed the tv schedule format, so you need the latest GB-PVR version 0.23.13 at http://www.gbpvr.com/GBPVR02313.msi

I'm using the latest version and have the same problem. The format is not the problem, because as stated he as well as I can update from the config screen, it just won't update automatically.

Over the past 3 weeks I had to do the same on the weekends. I have just gotten use to checking ahead a few days to see if it is there and then force it a day or two before I need it for scheduled events.

Same problem here. I did notice that all of a sudden I only had a couple of days listings left ( I'm using the Radio Times XMLTV grabber in the UK, so I don't think it's a Zap2it issue). Consequently, I too am updating manually from the Config program.

If anyone has cracked this issue, please post.

I have the same issue. I am using XMLTV. The update does not work. Further to this, I realized that if I change the time for the update this information seems not to be saved. When I restart the configuration it shows again the default time 3 a.m.

Any news on this one.

I'm using XMLTV Radio Times grabber.

Only discovered this problem today.

Strangley I found that my XML generated file was dated 26/1/05 (meant even though the schedule update batch file ran every night...the XML listing file hadn't updated??) IT normally pulls down a 10 day listing window.

Ran XMLTV batch whilst logged in and worked fine and updated XML listing file.

Forced reload via GBPVR config and tried a reboot and it still has no listings from tomorrow onwards as far as TV Guide screen is concerned.

Strangely, my season records seem to have future dates populated in the pending recordings list....but no details on them in the TV guide. Weird.

There is a known bug which will stop TV-guide from showing EPG data from 2 feb.

But you can use the webinterface.

a new release 0.90 is released today to handle this problem
Using DELL P4 1.5GB RAM 250 GB HD + DLINK DNS313 netdisk 1,5TB, 2 pieces of Hauppauge PVR150 w/45-button remote, 1 Popcorn Hour 110. Win XP SP3. GB-PVR v1.4.7 Plugins: Xrecord
