pinnacle 330e hybrid usb stick

hi,

I dont like the tv software pinnacle gives with their tv sticks. Its slow, the subtitles dont work properly on some channels. (i live in the UK)

Someone recommened me to get GBPVR.

Can anyone tell me if

1. will the subtitles work properly and clearly? (currently some channels dont display it properly whilst some channels do display clearly!) I am deaf therefore subtitles are vital! :-)

2. If i need to uninstall any exisiting tv software e.g. TVpro that came with the pinnacle stick?

3. Will it work with pinnacle tv stick products? I cannot seem to find anything for the pinnacle 330e on the list of compatible tuners.

Sorry - no they wont. There used to be basic DVB Subtitles support, but its been broken for quite a while. Countries that use Teletext Subtitles instead work better.

No.

It should do. At the very most, we would only need to add a new section to the bda.ini file with the appropriate settings for you device.
