Against my better judgement I allowed the HD Homerun software to run an update the other day and ever since I did that it's been dropping the signal within GBPVR. I have been able to get it back the last time by restarting the recording service or doing a reboot but now I can't get it back. I can view the channels within the HD Homerun config utility but when I try to open live tv within GBPVR it says there's no signal. Not quite sure where to go from here. I tried doing a remap of the digital channels and the config didn't find anything but the ID for the tuners within the capture source tab is correct. I've attached my logs just in case that helps.

It looks like your signal is over amped. Did you recently add an amplifier or remove some splitters?

There is a preamp on the antenna but it's been there the entire time I've had the HD Homerun hooked up and GBPVR has been recording fine. The only thing that has changed is the recent update to the HD Homerun software. I believe it did a firmware update too. It also is still able to access those stations from within the HD Homerun config utility.

I did also recently upgade to a gigabit router. Could this have anything to do with it?

Upgraded to the latest version of GBPVR and it took care of the problem. I had to reenter the HD Homerun info into the BDA config but that's about it. I don't know what the problem was but maybe that'll teach me to upgrade everything when I upgrade one thing.

Can you post your config.exe-native.log as well? I will post a custom qam.ini for you to try that will skip the problem channel but I want to make sure I eliminate the correct one.

I plan on creating a utility that will create a custom qam.ini that will only scan the channels listed in the HDHomeRun lineup editor but my dev machine is down at the moment.

That sounds promising! I'll look forward to that. Rolleyes

Your safe. I'm happily married (my wife isn't) and have my shots.

But more importantly, is it ready yet? <how bout a wink> Wink
