I know this exists somewhere, but I couldn't find it on search. I want to manually tune to channel 105.2 in QAM on my HVR1600, but I don't know how to enter the cryptic code to do it. For some reason, when I rescan it doesn't show up most of the time..I think it's a signal strength issue.

Does anyone know how to do this off the top of their heads?

For a qam channel, you need the PMT, video and audio PIDs (replace the suff in red):

Code:
T:105,0,0~P:2~V:[color=Red][Video PID][/color]~A:[color=red][Audio PID][/color]~PMT:[color=red][PMT PID][/color]~N:>[color=red][Insert name][/color]

You can use the frequency instead of Physical Channel as well: T:679250,105,0

If you add the tuning string to your scan*.cache file, it will show up in the mapping list.

PMT may be optional, I can't remember.

The stuff with the PID looks too involved. However, I have an LCD TV with QAM/ATSC tuner and I will look into getting the frequency off of that and use that instead.

You still need the PID numbers. The frequency just replaces the channel number and 679250 is the frequency for channel 105.

Code:
T:679250,105,0~P:2~V:[Video PID]~A:[Audio PID]~N:>[Insert name]
