Recording Service Starting and Stopping

My application event log shows the GBPVR Recording service starting and stopping many times each day (sometimes half a dozen times within minutes), is that normal or to be expected?

There is no sign of any errors there, it just looks like the service is being stopped restarted. This happens when you press the ok button in the config app, or if you reboot the machine.
