Analog channels appear twice in TV Guide

I have a Hauppauge HVR2200 (dual-tuner, hybrid DVB-T/Analog). I have 2 DVB-T capture sources set up and the digital channels only appear once in the TV guide - great.
I had one analog capture source set up (with 2 channels) and these appear in the TV Guide and work ok. But when I add a second Analog capture device (want to be able to record one channel and watch the other), each Analog channel appears twice in the TV Guide. And when I record one channel and try to watch the other, I get told there is no device available.
Any ideas why?

If you manually add a channel with the "Add" button, then the channel is only associated with that single specific capture device. If instead you'd pointed them both at the same xmltv file then you'd have only ended up with one channel, used by both capture sources.

I did point them both at my xml guide... however that doesn't (yet) include 'triangle tv'. But it does include Prime... could that have mis-matched because the djkxml data specified that Prime is on channel 7 but in wgtn, it's actually 319 (at least for me)?

No.

I'd just delete the channel from both capture sources, then ok out of the config app. Then go back in and try making sure the channels get created automatically from the xmltv file when you hit the 'update epg' button. Dont use the 'add' button at all in your attempt to create these channels.

But if I do this, after the epg adds the Prime channel, it says it's on channel 7. But I need to make it 319 for it to work...

There is nothing to stop you changing the channel number once its listed.

Oh, I thought the entries in the lists were all uneditable (except the 'enable' checkboxes). Or maybe it was just the names it seems I couldn't edit...

BTW, I noticed when clicking on one of those 'enable/disable' checkboxes, I have to click twice - seems the row has to be selected before you can change a checkbox? Shouldn't 1 click be enough? ;-)

You can definitely edit the channel numbers. The vast majority of xmltv files dont provide any channel numbers, so most users need to be able to edit these.

Its some wierd default behaviour of the .net datagrid control I use. It hasnt bother me enough to actually do anything about it. Maybe in some future release.

Ah ok, .net... blame it on Monsieur Gates (oh wait, you probably can't any more Wink )

The main reason I've noticed is because I've been in & out of here a LOT... with having to disable analog channels appearing under the digital capture device (after epg import), digital channels under the analog capture device, trying to get things right for two digital and two analog capture devices, trying to get the epg matching up with the scanned channels found, etc etc etc. It's been taking me a lot of goes to get this stuff right, and a lot of clicks...

I use up/down cursors and space to get around this.
