There are 3 settings in the config app for Multidec.

1. Enable Multidec plugin support.
This one is pretty obvious.

2. Record out-of-process.
I have read the wiki and understand it, but not clear why you would NOT want this enabled? Is sounds like I can have simultaneous recordings from the same sourse. Does it not work in certain situations? I am using Twinhan 102G for BEV. Can I use this? What are the restrictions.

3. Reuse MDAPI filter
Can't find any docs on this.

Thanks.

This setting is only useful for people for that have multiple cards. Old versions of the MDAPI filter would only allow once instance per process and this was away of working around this, ie each card could have its own process with one instance of the MDAPI filter in each.

Only use this if you're using a really old version of the MDAPI filter (like v1.x). It was required because old versions of the MDAPI filter could only be used once, and would fail on subsequent attempts to use it.

Ah, thanks. Totally clear now. Thought I could use the same card for simultaneous recordings. I saw in other forums mentions of sub-channels and mention that gbpvr doesn't support it. Wasn't totally clear what all this was about.

Thanks,
Greg
