XMLTV Recommendation

What would you recommend for a newbie in terms of a XMLTV tool and free source for guide data ?

I use the XMLTV part of MediaPortal to support gbpvr with xmltv-data. It has settings for most countries and has a easy-to-use GUI for selecting the channels you want. But forget the rest of MediaPortal Big Grin

Sorry, I dont know. I've never used it myself, but I know lots of users in north america use it.
