Hi

I've noticed that recording in HD (NZ DVB-T) generates a time line cap of 12 minutes 48 seconds. Once the recording passes this, the jump forward commands etc are based around the 12:48 mark (jump forward takes you back!!). You can still guestimate by clicking on the bar.

Not a problem when recording off the analogue tuner.

Any thoughts??

I noticed today that I have the 12:48 issue. I am running version 1.2.13, using TS recording, and NOT the internal TS reader, but the Halii (sp?) reader.

I also, notice, and do not see in anyone's post, an interesting twist. If the show is still RECORDING, I am limited to 12:48. However, if after the show finishes recording, I exit out of the player, go to ready recordings instead of pending, then it plays properly and the end time and comskip bars are correct, as is skip forward and back.

Will this patch fix me, or is it only for the internal reader?

Does the internal reader get used for playback during recording, despite selecting external reader?

I don't believe I have seen this before, but then again I usually watch the shows days later. Catching end of football games today. Perhaps the problem has been there all along.

Thanks
Chuck

1.3.7 fixes lots of TS related problems, so I'd advising moving to that instead of 1.2.13.

Been awaiting that. There were some reported problems, namely the internal TS reader setting did not seem effective. I was waiting until a solution or rebuttal was posted on that, since I had much difficulty with TS reader, but external Haali reader worked fine.

Is that still a concern, or should I upgrade?

Thanks

I dont know - I havnt looked into it. I've only been back in the country a few hours. I know there are lot of people running with the internal TS reader, and its much better in 1.3.7 than previous releases.

Well, welcome back! Hope you had a good time away, although I can't see many places that woudl be better than NZ.

I'll try the new version, can always revert I guess.

Just upgraded to 1.3.7. Installed TS reader patch dated 12/4/08 5:17 am, from survival guide.

I now get 12:48 limit on all playback, not just while recording. I noted taht in config.xml, teh use internal reader was set to true, so I changed to false to use my Haali. No effect. All files seem to have messed up timeline now.

Attaching some logs.
