I recently switched from yapi2xml to mc2xml.
I deleted the epg and all channels first and then updated. The listings are their and are accurate but the order seen on the TV guide is all over the place. There are bulks of channels like 10-21 that are in order but there are random placement of channels like 22, 5, 6,8, etc.

How do I fix this?
Again, the channel content is correct, just the order is wrong.

For instance it will list:
22 Cartoon Network which is correct but it doesn't appear after channel 21, but instead after channel 45.

btw, like I said, i purged all channels and its data because I don't have that many recordings set so i can i always reschedule them after I UpdateEPG. I am not worried about losing all of my pending and recurring recordings.

It would have happended because of slight differences in the channels names between the two epg sources.

The easiest fix is probably to export your recording, delete your gbpvr.db3 file, start the config app and recreate your capture sources, then import the recordings.

Alternatively you can try to correct the channel numbers on the 'Channels' tab of the config app.

the channel numbers are correct and in order on the 'channels' tab of config. only when it shows up on TV guide in GBPVR is it out of order.

The order they are shown in the TV Guide screen is based on the channel numbers on the channels tab. Note, this can be a different to the order of the channel list shown in the capture source settings.

Sub,

I have the same situation as described by Superflysocal.
I also use mc2xml for my EPG.

The channel numbers are correct in the config "channels tab" but they display out of sequence in the TV guide.

I only have 10 channels so it is not a big deal Tongue

If you zip and attach the gbpvr.db3 file, I'll tell you why.

I used ChangeEPGSources.bat and got it to work. Hope I won't have to do this often.

I'm sure, like most people, you dont intend to change EPG sources all the time...
