Hardwired Control of DirecTV Box

Hey,
A while back I installed a serial cable to go between my PC and the low speed data input of my RCA DirectTV box. It greatly spead up channel turning while using Beyond TV. But I would much perfer using GBPVR. How can I use this hardwire approch ?

I don't think this is supported yet (although it would be nice). do a search through the support forum and see if there's anything, if not, post a request under the 'wishlist' area
