How can I change the device order, so that it uses the tuner I want it to use? In the tuner list, I can change the order, but when i click ok, and go back, they are back to their original positions. Because of this, when i want to watch channel 120, i get only snow because it's using the analog tuner that doesn't get channel 120.

I appreciate your help!

Are you using 1.2.13 or 1.3.7?

This sounds like you have channels enabled in your capture source that arent available. You should disable them then this wont happen.

I am using V1.2.13.

You are correct, I had channels enabled that should not have been. However, now instead of having snow, if I change to 120, it goes back to the channel I was previously watching. The IR blaster now does not work for channels above 47, because I disabled them! They are enabled on the PVR-150 card, but the IR blaster is plugged into the HVR-1600 card, because that is the last one installed. Should I re-enable all the channels on HVR-1600, disable them in PVR-150, and put the set top box in the 1600 and analog in PVR-150... would that solve the problem? Although I don't think I should have to do that.

The changing device order bug was fixed in 1.3.7.

I dont know enought about your channel setup to know what you're doing, but does the HVR1600 have an ir blaster? If so, it doesnt matter if you've got the PVR150 using the HVR1600 IR Blaster - its entirely separate from which devices the channels are coming from. ie you can have a capture source setup for thee PVR150 that has channels you get from a set top box, and usese the '.exe channel changer' pointed at the HaupBlast.exe, which ends up using the HVR1600 IR Blaster to control your set top box.

Yes, the IRblaster is connected to HVR-1600.

HVR-1600 is only analog, can show channels from 2 to 47.

PVR-150 is digital from set top box, should get channels from 2 to 124.

At this moment, the 1600 settings is set to use the IRblaster. Maybe that is my mistake. I thought becasue the IRblaster is connected to the 1600, it should be that one configured to use the blaster, but now, i don't think so. I will go change that now and will post result.

Maybe I'll think about upgrading to 1.3.7.

But, yes, my bad, I changed the IRblaster to be used by the PVR-150 and bam, everything works like a charm. I didn't understand that it didn't matter where it was plugged. I made all sorts of tests, recordings and viewing and the software manages the 2 tuners perfectly well. The only detail is that my wife hates the Hauppauge remote, and she changes the channels thru the Motorola remote (for set top box), which I just tested, and of course then GBpvr has no way of knowing that the channel changed, and it records the wrong show, but this is a wife problem, not a pvr problem... hehe.

All good now, thank you very much for your help.
