Did i read right that multi record only works for dvb-t ?
If so why cant it do the same for dvb-s ?

It works with any of the digital systems, DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-S, QAM & ATSC.

ok ill keep trying must have a setting wrong or the stations not enabled on all tuners

tsmux or tsmux full stream
and tick the multi record box
anything else i should look for ?

I would assume only for DVB-S channels that share the same transponder/frequency.

As long as you're using TS Mux and have Multi-Record enabled, then it should do it.

Try scheduling a recording on TV One for the same time as a recording on TV2. If it doesnt work, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Correct. TV1+2+6+7, or TV3+C4.

our freeview only has 2 and i have 2 dvb-s tuners so i should be able to record both

im getting somewhere it records 3 maybe its just the way i have them entered with different epg sources

once again you have made gbpvr a cut above the rest

it was because i had some listings coming from xmltv(reven) and others coming from dvb-s names were different im guessing so gbpvr couldnt tell they were on the same transponder
that and i re-added a tuner and changed the way the tuners are in th list so the digital tuners are at the top
all working good now

this means the padding before and after a show will be honored the mrs will be very happy am i correct in thinking this
