can't schedule recordings from the web interface

Hello,
Just intalled the latest version of gbpvr yesterday. Everything seems to be up and running correctly except for the web schedule recording function. I can log in, see the schedule and click on a program and see the info window. But when I click the various options for recording (I think I've tried all options by now) and then click record, the pages simply resfreshes. The Manage Recordings tab has no listing for what I just selected.
The website didn't have any options for configure it so I'm at a lose at what exactly isn't working.

Oh, and recording via the remote/TV works fine.

Any help would be great

I really am not sure but could it be the following setting:
In the properties of the gbpvrrecordingservice check the "allow interact with desktop".

False alarm, looks like it's working now. The time of the show I was trying to work with before might have been starting a bit too close to the current time.
