If I do this multiple-record, is it possible to then save each recording as a separate MPEG (I can see wanting to keep one recording around for a while, but not others in the same multiple record .ts file).

I am also assuming here that when you delete from the recordings screen each specific recording, it doesnt actually alter the .ts file, just marks it in the database and then removes the ts file when the last multi-recording is deleted?

Thanks

Gary

You could try the transcode to meg option, either automatically via config, or manually from the video library.
I don't know if this would work intelligently and extract as per your question though.

I believe Multi-record demuxes the streams to seperate ts files on its own. Don't select Full TS Mux on the Misc2 tab.

khaver is correct. Use "TS Mux" with multi-record enabled and the shows are saved as separate files.
