Had to move some cards around for my new video card. This meant i had to reinstall the drivers for the hauppauge pvr500 I have.

Thought i'd done it correctly, but getting this error and not sure if I should be seeing a cross bar device inthe dev manager.

Code:
2008-12-07 13:22:27.109    VERBOSE    FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: Hauppauge WinTV PVR PCI II Crossbar
2008-12-07 13:22:27.109    ERROR    Failed to find Crossbar filter

Can someone remind me what I've probably forgotten...

In not sure if it's a filter or device i should be looking for.

Can you run filtercheck.exe and attach the filtercheck.log?

Everything looks normal in there.

Can you post the complete log showing the error?

hmm, i didn't think the system would get so snotty moving the cards around, figuring it would just put up the drivers already loaded.

think i got it....in posting you the log I had a look in the pvr.exe log, and saw it was complaining about a missing capture source....to make way for the new vid card i removed the pvr 150 i had... and the pvr 500 was set up to be device 2 and 3.

I've def got one of them going (the new #1 I think) so just need to confirm the #2....
