Hi all,

I am looking to purchase the above for use with GBPVR. It has BDA drivers, so I assume that all the digital bits will work fine.

Firstly, is this a fair assumption and secondly has anyone else used this to receive UK FreeSat (ie. BBC HD and Channel 4 HD etc) services.

This card is from http://www.dvbshop.net/product_info.php/...USALS.html

Thanks very much.

On thing to be aware of is that diseqc control only works with a limited subset of devices, like the Hauppauge ones. Diseqc will not work with that device.

Okay thanks. I don't have any need for DiSEqC as our dish is a fixed Sky mini-dish. I plan to fit a quad LNB to it in order to feed the existing Sky box and the TeVii S650 (plus other boxes in other parts of the house).

I'll report back my findings.

I think Channel 4 HD uses DVB-S2 and also is encrypted at present - so it is not part of Freesat.

Actually thats another good point. You'll only be able to use this device for DVB-S not DVB-S2. Currently DVB-S2 can only be used on Hauppauge or FireDTV devices.
