LiveTV and Network

First of all, very good program. Maybe somethings for the future on this wishlist.

LiveTV: make it a choice for timeshifting, now it is alway's recording when you watch liveTV.

And as second, a network vesion with one server and multiple clients. I watch my recorded tv shows on a network.

You should be able to do a simulated network client by using just the plugins for GBPVR.

Install GBPVR on your network machine.

Install one of the Video Plugins, point it to the recording directory over the network where the recordings are stored. You should then be able to run the GBPVR without a tuner, and still be able to watch your recordings over the network.

That's still only 1/2 of the way to what I'd like to see. I've also made this simulated network client and it plays the shows great, but you have to go to a browser to schedule recordings and such. A full network client would be more useful to me as all the plugins and settings would just work.

By the way, with this new 0.9 release, I've dumped the Snapstream software that I was using. I've got a Hauppauge MediaMVP and PVR250, and the combo works great!
