Using Antenna to HVR-1800 ATSC and Cable box to PVR-150MCE. When programs are scheduled to record on both devices simultaneusly the recording service crashes in less than 30 seconds - the antenna doesn't record at all and the cable box records less than 30 seconds and then stops. The GBPVR recording service stops altogether.

Attached are logs from tonight.

Any help would be appreciated.

This was happenning under 1.3.7 and I waited to post until I verified it on 1.3.11 as well.

Is any message added to the Windows Event Viewer?

I've just had this happen to me, after recording most of the evenings programmes without problems (Up to 4 sources simultaneously). The recording service terminated while recoding from 2 sources.

No errors or unexpected events in the logs.

Event Viewer showed this:-

The GB-PVR Recording Service service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 1 time(s).

No other events listed for 30 mins before or 50mins after the recording service event.

Well I seem to have found the cause of my problem.

I had updated my network card drivers, rolled back to the microsoft supplied ones and the problems seems to have gone.

Just checked by updating the drivers again and the problem returned, rolled back and the problem was gone again.

That's definitely unrelated to the problem I'm having. I just reproduced the error and this showed up in the Application Log:

Do you have any of the Config -> Capture Source -> Recording Source Settings -> "Advanced BDA Settings" options ticked?

Ignore PMT CRC errors during scan and Ignore PMT CRC errors always are checked.
