i have some shows scheduled that shouldn't have any problem, but it shows conflict between sources, i think it thinks my m780 can only rec one show at a time, but it's a true dual tuner..
same shows at same time i've been recording for over a year...checked times and shouldn't be a conflict, even accounting for padding....
[i have both 'try to honor padding'-true and 'prefer alternating cap sources'-true as i want the padding and have 2 atsc tuners and 1 analog]

has anything changed in this area lately?
which logs would help?

confirmed, conflict is between my digital and analog sources..i can schedule all the digitals, [1 back2back,during second a third digital starts on diff ch]
but i can't schedule a new analog when only one of the digitals is recording at that time?
i should be able to schedule an analog at any time as i only have one...Smile

What capture sources do you have setup, and which device selected for each? (give exact name).

i have a kworld pci120 [atsc] aver m780 [atsc and analog hardware encoder]
in order of appearance in config, PCI120, KWBDA, m780.
the PCI120 is the pci120, KWBDA is the digital side of the m780, m780 is the analog.
should i change the names?
all set as device #1
1."KWorld PlusTV HD PCI 120"
2."AVerMedia M780"
3."AVerMedia M780 (Analog)"

they have been recording this schedule for over a year now without conflict, so only happened after upgrade from 1.2.13 to 1.3.11..
it seems to think the m780 can't do 2 at once [analog/digital]

it didn't change anything...
checked every setting, all ok...[cap order, ch,mappings, device#,epg, times]

any ideas? i should be able to record all 3 tuners same time as i have been for a while now..

am going to have to downgrade soon if can't find answer, as most of my bball games on analog would conflict with every show i try to record in primetime..[bball always from 7-11pm]

i notice in cap source table that allocation order is good, but parent oid is blank for all..is it supposed to be that way where no dependent cards are present?

Sub, i replaced GBPVRBackendCommon.dll with 1.2.13 version and it lets me schedule the shows fine..
and tried live tv while recording both others and was fine...Smile

now i'm sure that's not a stable thing to do, but it does narrow it down a bit...
anything changed in there lately since 1.2.13? [1.3.11 looks same size as 1.3.7 ver.]
confirmed, 1.3.7 ver GBPVRBackendCommon.dll has problem too...

i suspect something in this is causing the problem for the m780 [a true dual tuner hardware mpeg/bda card]
[from 1.3.7 changelogs]
Quote:- improved logic that help app know that analog and digital sides of some devices couldnt be used at the same time (HVR2200/2250 etc)

Its not actually clear to me what you're trying to describe. Can you zip and email me your gbpvr.db3 file? I'll PM you my email address. Also give me an exact set of steps to reproduce the problem. I'll run up here to reproduce the problem, and fix if necessary, or explain why its happening.
