community skin on 1.3.11 vista 64 bit home premium

I just installed the stuff and when I change the skin inside the GUI, I get a window "stopping GBPVR...." immediatly followed up by another vista error window which says something like "SkinPlugginHelper stopped working....blah blah"

Sounds like a permissions thing with Vista. I don't have Vista so we will have to rely on help from others.

Does it make a ...\GBPVR\Plugins\SkinPlugin\SkinPluginHelper.exe.log file?

I did the following....
step 1: Emptied the CONTENTS in ...\GBPVR\Plugins\SkinPlugin\SkinPluginHelper.exe.log step2: gbpvr gui selected some skin step3: same error step4: The CONTENTS in ...\GBPVR\Plugins\SkinPlugin\SkinPluginHelper.exe.log is EMPTY

I have given permissions to all files and yet it fails.
All I want is the "BlueMCE2" skin. Is there a way to specify this settings in xml file instead of going thru the GUI SKIN menu?
