My recording information are all corrupt and I have now started to restore the information but I am running into problems.

Using the tool VidImport I have restored the information but all Swedish characters are incorrect. I then exported the recordings and corrected the characters in the recording_dump.xml file.

Now, I would like to import the corrected file but I get the information that all recordings already exists. How do I clear the stored recording info in the db so that an import would take?

Thanks,

You can either rename your gbpvr.db3 file to gbpvr.db3.old or something similar, then run the config app and setup your capture sources again, then do the import. Or, use a tool like SQLiteSpy to execute "delete from recording_schedule".

would like to avoid setting up all capture source with blaster again. Can I just delete all info from recording_schedule? Isnt there any referecial integrity to other tables that prevents this?

Yes. This will delete all your recordings, pending, readys, recurring etc.

Nothing hangs off this table.
