I missed a recording this evening, and I believe this is the first time this has ever happened, GBPVR runs rock solid for me. It doesn't appear that the system ever even attempted recording from what I can deduce from the logs (Attached) - maybe never even came awake. It was supposed to record "Lost" at 8 pm 2/18. Can anyone else tell what may have happened? I attempted another recording tonight on the same card and same channel, it worked just fine.

Odd - a quick glance (by my inexperienced eye) and I can't find any data at all in the logs for anywhere near the date/time you mention. Had a power outage all day??

I'd have to agree with martin's comments. There is no sign of the recording service being running that day until 23:20, which shows the recording service starting up.

Thanks for taking a look - it's entirely possible it didn't have power, or I was brilliant and didn't have it turned on.

If that could be the case then it would be well worth looking at getting the machine to power up for recordings. I use hibernate to shut it down and gbpvr wakes it up to record stuff extremely reliably. Windows can then drop it back to hibernate after 10 minutes or so of no activity.

I usually do use the wake feature, and love it, which is why I was concerned about it missing that recording. Now thinking of it though, I think i turned the entire PC off the night before... I was tinkering with getting multi-channel outs to give me 5.1 sound, and I believe I powered down the whole thing as a habit! Thanks for checking out my logs anyway!
