issue with video library

I am having an issue with video library. I always add my recording directoy under the video library directorys option in the config. This means from video library I can access any recordings which is really great. I have noticed recently (can't tell if its only the latest version) that selecting the recordings directory throws me back to the main menu.
The logs are attached but I can tell you the directory is there and is working fine through other apps that can access that directory.

Do you have any .lnk files in your recording directory?

yes there was, not sure why it was there as it linked to my main fileserver which is strange to me.
I have deleted the file but someone is watching a recording so unable to checkif this has fixed it.
