I have never worked with any PVR software before.
This is a first time installation of GB-PVR 1.3.11 on a new PC.

When I enter LiveTV, I see the channel name and hear the channel. But the image is black. I can change channel. Each channel remains black but you do have sound.

I tested with Hauppauge WinTV. All works fine. You see the channel program and hear the sound.

What is installed:
Windows XP Professional Sp 3
Hauppauge HVR 2250 TV card
Dot Net Runtime 2.0
Microsoft Visual C Runtime
DirectX 9.0c
Windows Media Player 9
Please see the attatchment for the HVR 2250 setup images and GB-PVR logs.

Any help will be appreciatted.

I have only installed the software listed in the message. From your statement I guess I need to install more. Like DIVX?

GB-PVR needs an MPEG2 decoder to work. Most people have one on their machine, but you might not. Most people have them from DVD player software etc. You can see decoders it detects on the playback tab of the config app.

You can download and install one from http://www.free-codecs.com/download/MPV_Decoder.htm

In the GB-PVR configuration program, Tab "Playback". I change the MPEG-2 Playback Video Decoder from "System Default" to "InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for H.." Now I'm able to see video. I will go to the site you suggest and look at other MPEG2 decoder. Do you have any recommendation?
I also running on a Intel DG45ID motherboard with built in Video (Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset)
