Hi,
I just noticed today that I have some recorded H264 ts files that does not have any sound when playing in PVRX2. Playing them in graphedit and in PowerDVD gives sound.
On the other hand I have other recordings from the same channel who have sound. Also live TV works with sound.
What can be the difference between the files. They are all recorded from the Swedish HD channel (SVT HD). In the logs they seem to be treated the same. I have played around with different audio decoders but no change.
Lgs are enclosed. In the logs the Galapagos show has sound whether the Planet Earth has no sound.

If you can supply a 40MB chunk of that recording, I'll take a look. A utility for cutting a chunk can be found here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=3...ostcount=2

Thanks a cutout is here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZLZO5CZP
I am not sure if it is any sound at all in that part of the file as it is before the film starts, but maybe it is possible to check anyway. Otherwise I can try to cut out piece somewhere in the middle of the film. But in that case I need some other toolt to cut with.

If you play that chunk you uploaded, do you get sound?

All I get is a non-moving video with no audio. The file plays, I guess, but if there's supposed to be something on the screen besides a title screen, there isn't.

Media Info says the file has no audio in it.
I bet Michael Bay uses GBPVR because it's awesome:

Play the file, then zip and attach the pvrx2.exe.log and pvrx2.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

If you don't know, I was talking about the clip he uploaded. I'm guessing it doesn't play audio because according to Media Info there's no audio in it.

Ah, right. I though you were talking about a problem you were having.

I've looked at the file with a few things utilities. I think its just blue banner screen with no audio.

I'd like to see a sample with real video rather than just an info screen.

Sorry but that, thought it was some sound at the end of that clip.
Should have checked more carefully before giving you the last clip, don't want to waste your time more than neccessary.

Anyway here is a cutout from in the middel of the film (this one has a
soundtrack when viewning in graphedit).

I don't know if it helps but I tried on the PCH and while the file plays it is internally showing with two tracks one mp1 audio with a second silent ac3 track. I run it through ts4np and there is just one mp2 audio track
