Gday

I'm trying to get my Asus u3100 Mini USB hdtv capture card to work with gbpvr but it wont recognise the card.

Ive set it up under digital recording setting (if i click only cards found on this system it sais there is none) and imported the xml file. when try to map to the digital channels and scan for channels i get a "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object." message.
Full error is attached and is the filtercheck file.

I have added my own u3100 entry into the .bda file with the proper information from graphedit and wiki site with no luck.

Any help or ideas would be great if possible.
cheers

Try reproducing the error, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and config.exe-native.log and i'll take a look.

You have the tuner listed as the "U3000" in your bda.ini but the filter is the "U3100" according to filtercheck.

Update your bda.ini entry to include:
Code:
TUNER_FILTER=ASUS U3100 Mini BDA Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)
CAPTURE_FILTER=ASUS U3100 Mini BDA Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)

The section you've added to bda.ini is incorrect.

Try adding this:

[ASUS U3100 Mini]
TUNING_TYPE=DVB-T
FILTER_TUNER=ASUS U3100 Mini BDA Digital Tuner (Dev1 Path0)
FILTER_CAPTURE=ASUS U3100 Mini BDA Digital Capture (Dev1 Path0)
PIN_TUNER_IN=Input0
PIN_TUNER_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_IN=MPEG2 Transport
PIN_CAPTURE_OUT=MPEG2 Transport
