Guide info always says "Show/Game Show"

Have had a bit of a look about this but have come up blank so far. In my TV guide info I get title, channe, date and time and then (always) "Show/Game Show" I get this regardless of the type of programe I am looking at.

Any thoughts? It's not a biggie.

What EPG source do you use?

Can you post a screenshot so I see exactly what you mean?

Thanks Sub. I use dvb2xmltv but I used to get this when using just dvb EPG broadcast too.

Maybe try running "pvrx2.exe -removeallgenre"

I have noticed the same thing so after your message I went & looked in my tvguide.xml generated by DvbToXMLTV.exe & it has <category>Show / Game Show</category> for heaps of programmes so it seems most likely it is actually a stuff up with the original guide data at the source.

Thanks Sub. This has removed the genre info. Will see what happens with the next EPG update.
