I have the system up and running and everything works well with my mouse input. However, how do I configure GB-PVR to use the IRBlaster that ships with the Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150?

Do I just need to configure the ini file for the remote?

It doesnt support it at this stage. The next release will.

Bump. I hear this is supported in new version, but I cannot get it to work. I followed instructions on wiki site. Can anyone shed some light on this? I too have the 150 w/Remote combo.

The current version 0.90.x supports the Hauppuage IR Blaster. You need to have the IR Blaster configured and working with the Huappauge software, then select the Hauppauge IR Blaster as the channel changer. It'll then use the settings from the Hauppauge software to send channel change requests via the IR Blaster.

I've been using 0.908 with the Hauppauge IR Blaster on the PVR 150. It changes channel on the first recording but it fails to change channels on subsequent recording after hibernating and waking up.

Anybody else with having the same problem with the PVR 150? or is this a known bug?

Aside from hangings when trying to click on record from the TV guide esp after hibernation the 0.908 works pretty well.

Thanks.

I'm using an external cable box and composite input.

Hi,

I just bought a Hauppauge PVR-150 and installed GB-PVR 09010.  I've connected a digital cable box to the RF of the tuner card.  Under the Direct Recording Configuration screen, I've set the source to "Fixed-Channel, External Tuner" and tuning to "Cable".

Everything seems to be working so far with watching live TV (and even pausing too) except for a problem with the remote.  It works ok when I'm changing 2 digit channels.  However, when I press channel up when I'm on 530, for example, the on screen guide shows that the channel changed to 533.  However, the blaster only sends 53 instead of 533 to the set up box.  I've verified with the BlastCfg IR Channel Test that it does send 533 to the set up box if I enter this number into the field and click send.  Any idea what the problem could be?  Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

I notice that using the number keys on the IR blaster won't change the channels, You need to hit the channel then "OK" on the remote before anything happens.

Thanks for your response. I did press ok after the numbers. I've just played it with some more. I noticed that if I just open GBPVR, the first time I change a station to a 3 digit one (533 <OK&gtWink, it works. However, subsequent times only send the last two numbers (33 in this case).
