Half my recordings for today failed. GBPVR logs look ok but Windows Event Log show that the Recording Service crashed with a .NET error faulting on wstsrtdigital.ax.

What does this filter do?

It handles Teletext. If you dont need teletext, you can deregister this component.

I only use subtitles off SRT files from Freeview dvb-s. Not Teletext off LiveTV. Does that count?

It is responsible for capturing SRT files from teletext on DVB-S.

Happened again today with the error below. Can't find anything happening the GBPVR log files at the time of the crash. Do you have a debug version of this filter that write logs? Also my wstsrtdigital.ax is dated 18/05/2008. Is there a later version?

"Faulting application gbpvrrecordingservice.exe, version 1.0.3299.13249, stamp 00000033, faulting module wstsrtdigital.ax, version 0.1.0.0, stamp 482f515d, debug? 0, fault address 0x000057b4."

No, there isnt a newer one. It hasnt been changed in a long time, since I wasnt aware of any problems with it.

I'm not in NZ, so cant supply you a debug one now. I'll check it out when I'm back in the country.

Just had a look at the recordings and it failed today trying to record exactly the same show. It was the repeat of Target on Ch.3 that failed recording earlier this week and I set it to record the repeat telecast which also crashed the recording service.

Something in the transmission is killing the filter. I've got about 2 mins of the recording before it died. Is that of any use to you?

I lost quite a few recordings because I wasn't aware that the recording service had stopped until I looked my recordings list and they all had fail. Can I suggest you add an option in config to check and warn the user that the recording service is not running on startup of PVRX2.

I'd just deregister that filter until I'm back in New Zealand and have a chance to look at it.
