Hi sub,
I have

#1 Nova-T tuner 1
#2 Nova-T tuner 2
#3 Nova-HD-S2

Some of the channels set in my guide are on all 3 tuners ( common ones like BBC ITV etc )
Other movie / HD channels are only available on the #3 tuner

The devices are listed in the order above but gbpvr were prefers to use the #3 Tuner ( for unknown reasons)
I tried disabling BBC 1 channel on #3 , and it then reverts to using #2 !!!! ???
I then disabled BBC1 from #2 , and it then used #1 ( finally )

The problem has only surfaced in the last day , before that it would use them in order ( except obviously when the channel is only available on #3 )

Any idea how to fix this ? or force it to use tuner #1 or #2 first

Thanks for the time

Tuners are allocated in the following ways (assuming all channel line ups are the same for all three).

Recordings are allocated 1, 2, 3
Live TV is allocated 3, 2, 1

So if you have most channels on your Nova HD tuner, then I'd recommend using the little unmarked buttons to the right of the captures sources and put the Nova HD in the middle.

However if you'd prefer that you use your HD tuner first for both Live tv and for recordings this is also possible.

Create another capture source mimiciking your HD tuner exactly (only difference is the name) and leaving your current HD tuner as 3, insert this new one at 1. This means for every recording, and live tv, it will try to use the HD tuner, and if if use it will drop to one of the other two.

Hope that helps.

Yeah, the way I have mine set up is:

#1 Record HVR-1600 Analog
#2 Record Sony Mpeg w/ STB
#3 HVR-1600 QAM
#2 Live Sony Mpeg w/ STB
#1 Live HVR-1600 Anaog

Both #1's and #2's have the same lineup on the EPG, device # and everything, except for the name. #3 is only for QAM channels (obviously).

Priorities are Recordings from top down, LiveTV is from bottom up. I never understood why... kinda a pain when your EPG changes and you need to edit four sources because of the two duplicates except for the name.
