Is there a way to set the process priority that gbpvr 1.3.11 starts up ffmpeg with when transcoding? By default, I've noticed that when ffmpeg is started by gbpvr it starts up set at the belownormal process priority. My system is not dedicated to gbpvr. However, when I do decide to use gbpvr I want to ensure that ffmpeg transcodes at an abovenormal process priority to keep up with my viewing.

Thank you for your assistance.

Kind Regards,

Gary

You can't do it, unless you let ZProcess control it. However, I will be removing that option in future releases, because increasing the cpu priority typically messes with so much more. I've done A LOT of testing. Trust me. You THINK it will solve your problems. But maybe for only a couple of minutes. As soon as you turn your back, things will get pretty difficult.

More often than not, it's something else that is causing a bottle neck.
