I have two HD Homerun units setup for QAM channels for a total of 4 QAM tuners, along with a couple of Hauppauge cards for ATSC & standard cable channels. I use Schedules Direct for my guide info.

I have no problem setting up the QAM channels that I have enabled on Schedules Direct on all 4 QAM tuners in GBPVR. Ex: WGRZHD maps to channel 702, WUTVHD mappes to channel 706 which is how it is supposed to be. The guide in GBPVR shows this correctly.

Now the problem: I have 8 QAM channels that are not included in the SD guide. When I go into GBPVR config & manually add these channels into each of the 4 QAM tuners (using the same channel numbers for each; 801, 802 etc) I then get multiple listings in GBPVR for the channels I added.

I'm trying to get the "added channels" setup in GBPVR (ie:CBLTDT channel 801) just like the ones that are mapped thru the SD guide like WGRZHD is setup on channel 702 in the GBPVR guide & that works that way with all four tuners.

Right now the "added channels" are listed 4 times for each channel in GBPVR.

Is there a certain order in GBPVR config when setting up the QAM tuners ( & adding these extra channels) that would eliminate the extra listings for the added channels & each channel would be available to each tuner?

Or do I have to manually edit the gbpvr.db3 file? That is something I would prefer not to do!!

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!

Unfortunately manually added channels are always associated with a single capture source. There is no easy way around that.

It might just be easier to map them to wrong channels and then rename them in the channel list. Guide listings would be wrong or you could disable the data download of those channels in your XMLTv file or on the Schedules Direct website.
