This is a one for Reven if you're out there.

In the config for My Videos on the DVD Burning page there are settings for DVD Reader and DVD Writer.

They keep swapping around. What I mean is I can set one to F: and the other to E: When I OK and then go back in they have switched places.

Am I going mad or is it just the rest of the world......

its probably just something stupid i did and never caught it since i only use on dvd drive. just config it for now exit the config app, then in the gbpvr root directory open config.xml file in notepad. and find the setting
settings\pluginsettings\myvideosplugin\dvdreader
settings\pluginsettings\myvideosplugin\dvdwriter
and change those to the correct drives. (if they have the ":" after the letter you must specify this aswell, otherwise it might crash).
ill fix this in the next build.

Reven,

I didn't want to start a new thread, but in your next build could you include your .link reader to also read sub directories. Example if i place a folder in my main dir say g:\movies called star wars trilogy, then my videos see it just fine, but if i place a sub folder in the one of the other directories that is in the other.link file say e:\movies and place the same folder star wars trilogy that directory, my videos does not see it...Do you think this can be added??

This is for Reven.

With the newest version of the MyVideos Plugin, the images and text are stored in videos.mdb. I have some movies where the title in the movie database is too long, so I get an error inserting the information in the database. I'm not getting any information displayed for these movies.
One of the movies is Pirates Of The Carribean.
Could this be fixed?

yeah i thought this might be a problem, i only ever ran into it when something was wrong with info, so i didnt bother fixing it.  if you have access you can edit the database fields so they can have longer strings in them, and if you dont, you'll have to wait for the next version of my videos, at which time you'll have to replace the videos.mdb file, so all the info will be lost (if the episode info is still in the gbpvr database, you can still get that info thou).  i assume the title is "Pirates of the Carribean - the curse of the black pearl" and the limit i think is 50 characters, and that is just a little bit over.

sorry about this bug, im new to databases and was bound to run into problems like these.
