Hi guys
I can only get sound when trying to get TV Central tuning in digitally. Why is that? I can get the channel on my old VHF TV. Why would Freeview broadcast the sound but no picture? Looks like I will have to get the signal via the analogue signal. Sad
Can onyone please give me the analogue channel number for TV Central broadcast from Te Aroha?

Now this is unusual. I can get sound and picture using Power Cinema's digital tuner. I have rescaned for channels in GBPVR config and in the scan preview still only get sound, no picture.

I dont receive TV Central in Wellington. When I'm back in the country next week (if you remind me) I'll get you to supply a small sample recording and 'll check it out.

Do you just want a recording and nothing else?

Yes, a small .ts recording would be a good start.

How big is small because I recall that there is a max size that I can attach to the post? I have one that is 1:51 sec long that is 39MB. Too big?

You'd need to use a web server like megaupload.com to upload it, then I'll download from there.

OK sub, I hope that I have done this right. The link for the file at megaupload is http://www.megaupload.com/?d=UJP54WF7
When I attempt to play the file in Media Player Classic I get pixellated disjointed video, but that is pretty normal I have found with TS files.

Thanks for any help, Fantastic program.

can you just recap where you are at with playing the file you posted
does it play with picture or not ?
if you are getting mixed up picture pixellated and jumpy whats your signal like ?
what decoders are you using or have you installed ?

record a file with gbpvr then play it back in media player classic if it plays it would indicate you need to sort out what decoder gbpvr is using

I can watch TV central no problem with Power Cinema, however I cannot watch, play or record the same thing with GBPVR. When setting up channels in config with GBPVR I get sound but no video in the preview. After setup I still get sound but no video when watching or recording in GBPVR. Signal is 5 X 5 for all other channels. The comment about pixellation in Media Player classic is to give an indication that the video is probably there in the TS TVCentral files as I get the same pixellation from other TS files that play and record fine through GBPVR, however for some reason GBPVR is not displaying the TVCentral files.
