Yesterday I finally finished the setup of my new PVR pc in the living room, finally connected it to the TV with a good quality cable (instead of the shitty Marmitek I tried for over a week...).
Time to play! So I scheduled some recordings and played them back later.
The sharpness of the recording is amazing, subtitles are also very sharp. That suprised me in the positive way.
But... (there's always a but...) I have a tiny delay in the audio when playing back on the hardware TV-out. Just enough to be anoying. Besides that, the playback is not realy fluid (or how do you say that). It looks like it skips some frames per second, talking people look weird.
P.S.: If I watch a recording back on the pc screen, it looks awesome, sound is ok (no delay) and playback is fluid. So it looks to me like a TV-out issue.
So, finally my question:
Do I have to adjust some more settings than just the playback device? Is it wise to minimize the OSD during playback (I saw that is also an option) or do I have to make adjustments to some ini file or something?
Help? Anyone?
