After upgrading using the NMTInstall, I received a black screen on first start-up. Upon discovering that the MVPMCX2 binary was still 7zipped in the share folder (and thus on the NMT as well) and unzipping it manually, the menu screen loaded successfully. I was then able to play stored content without issue. However, when I attempt to watch LiveTV, I get various levels of failure. Sometimes, after selecting a channel and hitting watch it just locks up, but usually it will go to a black screen and then hang. Sometimes the Analog PVR-150 tuner will work, other times it goes black and locks up. The HDHomeRun tuner worked once but now just goes black and locks up, It all works fine on the Server PC.

Output of mvpmcx2 from the command line is attached as well as startmeup and config.xml. One side note, what are the other mac addresses in config.xml that are not the default or my NMT? I don't recognize them nor did I put them there, but it fails completely if I remove them.

Thanks!!

You need to power off and on your NMT when you see this error

exiting due to error 40, RM_FATALOUTOFMEMORY

What I need to see is you GBPVR logs though.

Smerkal, it looks like you modified the NMT web port, mvpmcx2 only reads from port 7647

Code:
2009-08-11 08:25:32.781    VERBOSE    [4]    getValue: /settings/WebServerPort : 7667

Yea, that's my mistake. I was messing around with this problem and forgot to put that back. The problem existed previous to that change. I will fix that tonight, restart and attempt again. Will post logs and results later.

OK, I changed the web port back to 7647 and restarted. Back to the old behavior. Everything came up and worked at first. Was able to change channels several times on the PVR-150 tuner and the HDHomeRun, but after about the 5th or 6th channel change it hung up. I selected 'watch' from the guide screen and it became unresponsive. After a few minutes, it went to a black screen. After reboot it works again. Output from mvpmcx2 (ran twice) and logs are attached.

You are going to have to try again, you are autostarting two servers, and it needs to be set to one.

I am guessing your problem is with the HDHR files though and not the analog, I notice at least one that says.

Code:
2009-08-12 17:44:50.310    VERBOSE    locked=0    present=1     strength=100     quality=0

I think there is a secondary problem and you really shouldn't try to switch livetv from the analog tuner to the digital tuner, but I will wait for you logs to .

OK...Switched back to autostart one server, restarted recording service and rebooted PCH. Was able to switch channel over half dozen times on the analog tuner both via OSD and stop/start. Then went to HDHR and locked up on the fourth channel switch. Have had it lock up as soon as the first channel is selected on HDHR in the past. Files attached.

smerkal, I did notice this message in your logs, I suggest you run the re-register batch file

FindFilterByName failed to locate filter: GB-PVR PSI Parser

If that doesn't get it, I'd wait for the next version of GB-PVR, I am not seeing any problem with mvpmcx2 (unless maybe you are killing it via telnet which is a no-no) One of the logs entries showed the digital station not growing which might be fixed

Code:

Now this is intersting.... After restarting the recording service and rebooting the PCH again, I went directly to the HDHR and started tuning channels until the display locked up. I then proceeded to use the remote to continue tuning channels, even though the screen was locked up, and it appears that the requests were logged in the RecordingService log even though nothing was happening on the screen.

See attached RecordingService log snippet. First channel listed (38) was the last one that actually came up. The next channel (96) was when the screen locked up. Everything after that took place in the background without displaying on the screen.

I also attached full logs again and mvcmcx2 output after hang.
