Short Pause After Channel Change

I have this happen in 1.3.11 and 1.4.7 both. I do not use Live Preview mode and I know that makes channel changes slow, but my family is used to a LG LRM-519. When I first start Live TV I see a black screen for a few seconds and then everything works fine. When I change channels the video is paused for a few seconds and then the new channel plays but then a second or two later the video pauses for just a second and then plays fine. I tried changing the Live TV pre-play dealy but that made no difference. Any way to get rid of the second pause when I change channels?

I have the same problem but, it just started happening when I went to 1.4.7 it did not happen with 1.3.11.

Yes I get it too.
Sub double starts the tune request to the tuner, giving the delay and start stutter.

I think there is a switch in config.xml but that then gave me problems with Scheduled Recording not recording reliably
