Not a bit of a problem for me with GBPVR on 2 x64 systems. Audio works much differently in Windows 7 than in XP so maybe try a different audio decoder choice.

I haven't been able to get the digital side of 1 of my tuners to work in Win 7 64 bit. Both tuners work fine in my XP partition on the same pc.

I really don't know how that card will work in W7. Give it a try. You'd definitely benefit more with a digital card such as the HVR2250. Much depends on your cable provider too.

I could be wrong, but I dont think they released 64 bit drivers for this device.

I mucked about with this a bit more today

I now know that it is not a audio problem with windows

Iam starting to think it maybe to do with gb pvr , I have tried both my different cards and the problem persists watching live tv.
I tried to run the re-register filters from the gb pvr directory and got a bunch or errors.

I tried to do the repair option with the gbpvr msi but it exited prematurely with an error

I did try the previous relase of gbpvr with win 7 32bit RC and it was fine

Iam trying it on windows 7 64bit ultimate (msdn version)

I ahve tried latest versin of dx , and also tried different audio drivers for my 888 chip , but no joy.

Any ideas what to try next ?( toying with trying win 7 ult 32 bit)

Whenever I get the repair rollback, I just uninstall GBPVR and reinstall. Might not be a bad idea to start from scratch with GBPVR anyway.
I've heard of popping sounds on systems with integrated audio and it was always something running in the background that caused a problem such as a virus scanner or update. Whether integrated audio or a dedicated sound card, many of the companies have been updating drivers already for Windows. Creative had 2 updates since W7 RC so definitely make sure you have the latest drivers for your sound device.
